Maundy Thursday -

On the Thursday before Easter, Maundy Thursday, the St. Andrew congregation joins with the other two Presbyterian (USA) Churches in Decatur for a joint worship service. The three choirs form one massed choir and the three clergy share leadership responsibilities. The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated as we remember Christ's Last Supper with his disciples. The story from scripture is shared about Christ's last days on earth, including his arrest, imprisonment, and death on the cross.
