Personnel, Planning, and Finance -
...will glorify God by guiding our staff, seeking God's direction for our church, and being a faithful steward of all God's gifts entrusted to us.
1) Conduct annual personnel reviews with all of the church's paid staff.
2) Make recommendations to the session and congregation concerning changes in the compensation for church staff.
3) Provide general oversight and support for church staff.
4) Interview and recommend to the session, candidates to fill vacant staff positions (except pastoral staff).
5) Plan and administer the congregation's direction using short/long term planning.
6) Research and make suggestions related to the administrative structure of the church and its appropriateness for the present and future needs.
7) Create and conduct, with CCNA, the congregation's annual stewardship campaign.
8) Compile, on a yearly basis, the budget requests of the various committees within the church and recommend to session an equitable allocation of existing funds.
9) Recommend to the session the fair distribution of the church's operating resources.
10) Promote and recommend to session the date for receiving special offerings.
11) Coordinate work of controller and treasurer (monies in & out).
